Wait a minute.

Did I really just blog about all of that? And I forgot to add that flash back number 1 said "you look really good". Umm. I literally said wait what...lol he repeated it. Lol.

I didn't wash my hair. I chose to dance around in my room with my two year old instead.

Late Night Epiphany

Men. Well, today, white men...And let me start off by saying that this is in no way to offend anyone because when I was in high school, I was convinced that Justin Timberlake would marry me if he met me...

So, I digress, White Men...love Black Women with natural hair. Twice...excuse me, three time did I have someone make a comment about my hair. Two out of the three times, they wanted to put their long strong fingers in my hair. One did. And I had to back up, rewind and get my ass together. I am NOT SINGLE.

The first one, a blast from the past said to me, "I love your hair."

Whaatttt...skirrrrrrtttt...It wasn't one of those "oh, nice hairdo to make small talk." It was one of those "wow, your hair is really nice and if you let me run my fingers through it I will make love to you all night long...by the way, can I have your number?" And boooooy did I have a crush on him when he played Barnum my freshman year of high school.

The second one, ANOTHER blast from the past, put his hands in it and said, "What's this?" Not like one of those I just need something to say, but a you on some new beautiful shit, you Nubian Princess, you and I just need a reason to put my hands on those wonderful locks..."

Mmmhhhmmm....Brother. A chocolate piece of candy I could just let melt in my mouth AND my hands...Oh, wait...*wipes up slob going down her chin* Excuse me.

And the very final one. He was intrigued with my hair and my boobs. But he looked like he just stepped off of a fast and furious movie set. I'm talking Paul Walker/Matthew McConaughey type morphed child. I swear. He looked at me and was like "Hi." On some "Hello, I'm sexy and I know it" type shit. "Your hair is really nice {and I'd like to lay you down on this bar right now and sip jameson from your navel. then run to the fire depths come back in a fast car and have sex on it}" That's what that meant..ya know, paraphrasing.

Then he went on to be a perv and kept saying I like your shirt...wanting to say I like your boobs. They all can't be perfect, but hey, this is my fantasy. LOL

I'm a nut.

My hair is soft and lustrous because of Curly Hair Products Whipped Cream. I'm going to post more about it once I try all three products that I've used. I'm washing my hair with it in the morning. Stay tuned. But I AM about to swear by this Whipped Cream. :)

Okay..here goes...

I need to start getting serious about this change. I've been just reading up on it myself. Its been since March/April (appx 5 months) since I stopped putting a relaxer in my hair. I did it for two reasons:

#1 My boyfriend likes natural hair. Don't get me wrong, I don't change for anyone but (#2) I was looking for a change and something less expensive (boy was I wrong about the expenses part!). I also wanted something easier to handle, but this protective styling (I usually go for a twist out) is NOT cool.

So, I started with Creme of Nature Products because they were on sale at CVS.

I was using these at first ever so often for washing and conditioning. But I need a little bit more I think...So I cut out the oil moisturizer (which I still use in a hurry) and added to my daily regime:

 Right now after I wash/spray I rub some of the hair polisher on it and for the pieces that need extra help I put the moisture gro. I know it seems like a lot but I have really dry hair. Check out their products: Palmers

Its a learning experience in which I am ready to learn. I was just added to a Facebook Group. There is so much support out there!

I've been emailing companies because this hair journey is expensive and I want to try some samples before I buy!
